In October 2024, The Goss-Michael Foundation will present Is It Real? Contemporary Artists Address Reproductive Freedom at Lagoon Studio in Dallas, in partnership with ACLU of Texas, Texas Abortion Advocacy Network, TEA Fund, and The Afiya Center. This unprecedented exhibition, curated by Emily Edwards and Sara Hignite, centers Southern voices on the critical issue of reproductive rights with a majority of participating artists representing marginalized communities.
